This listing is for the transfer of AUDIO CDs to digital files. By default, we transfer your audio cd’s to 320k quality MP3 files. If you require any other formats, please ask us for a quote.

CD RECOVERY
Most discs will either transfer or they won’t due to damage. We will attempt yo recover every portion that is in transfer condition.

CD COLLECTION RULES (Applies only to Commercial CDs)
We can backup your commercial CD collection to digital files under the following conditions:

* All CDs must be original and not burned copies.
* We will only return the files to you on a drive that you own. We do not upload copywritten material.
* Track titles will only be provided if they automatically pull from the online database. Otherwise files will come in raw numbered folders.
* Includes 320k MP3 Files. WAV or other file formats available at higher quote. ASK.
* We do not refund any CDs or tracks that are unreadable due to CD condition.
* We MUST return ship all items to you to remain compliant under the law.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO KNOW IF MY CDs ARE BLANK?
Short of being able to look at them, no. But there are clues. Burned CDs and DVDs usually have a slightly different color between the parts of the discs that have been used and not used.

I STILL HAVE MY PLAYER AND MY CD IS NOT PLAYING. DOES THAT MEAN IT’S NOT WORTH TRANSFERRING?
Not necessarily. If you pulled out an old player that has not been maintained in years or even decades, the playback device itself could be the problem. Also some CDs were burned on computers in formats that various CD players do not recognize. We have gotten items in that would not play for a customer but played well for us because our devices are well maintained and we know how to recover the data.
